Hi, I don't know if anyone will reply to this but I have been having problems getting comfortable riding around on my skateboard. I want to learn tricks but am having trouble with balance. I spent two months last summer riding my board back and forth on my street, but I still didn't have enough balance to start learning tricks. I am starting back riding my board again this summer. Does anyone have any tips for me? Is this the wrong place for this topic?

Just have fun with it and enjoy what you can do. There are plenty of Youtube videos that explain how to do each trick or find some other skaters in your area to learn from in person. Don't feel embarrassed if you have to learn a trick standing still if you don't feel comfortable trying it while going. We've all been there. At this point focus on the basics like pushing and rolling. The more you do it the easier it gets.
